JobStamp

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 23, 2026

Draft — this policy describes exactly what JobStamp collects and how it's handled today, but it hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer yet. Have it reviewed for your jurisdiction before relying on it for a public launch.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data JobStamp ("the app", "we", "us") collects from contractors who use it ("you"), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

1. Who's responsible for your data

JobStamp is operated by Sharam Shubab, trading as JobStamp, Fritz-Erler-Straße 9, 63073 Offenbach am Main, Germany. For any privacy question or to exercise any of the rights below, contact support@usejobstamp.com.

2. What we collect

Account data: your name, business name, and the email address or phone number you sign in with.

Job data: client names, job addresses, job types, and job status that you enter.

Photo data: photos you capture in the app, along with the GPS coordinates and timestamp recorded automatically at the moment each photo is taken, and any note you add to it.

We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or any data beyond what's needed to provide the features above.

3. Why we collect it

All of it is collected to provide the core service you're using JobStamp for: logging job-site photos with verifiable timestamps and locations, and generating client-ready PDF reports. This is processed on the legal basis of performing our contract with you (the service you signed up for).

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of infrastructure providers ("sub-processors") to run the app. Neither has any independent use for your data — they process it only to provide their service to us:

• Supabase (database, file storage, and authentication) — your data is hosted in the EU (Ireland).

• Resend (email delivery) — used only to send you sign-in codes.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account — this removes everything immediately, including all stored photos.

6. Your rights

If you're in the EU/EEA or UK, you have rights under GDPR (and equivalent rights may apply elsewhere) to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you

• Correct inaccurate data (editable directly in the app under Profile)

• Erase your data (self-service in Settings → Delete Account, or by request)

• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format (self-service in Settings → Export My Data, or by request)

• Object to or restrict certain processing

To exercise any of these, contact support@usejobstamp.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

7. Security

Your data is encrypted in transit. Every job and photo is scoped to your account at the database level (row-level security), so it's only ever accessible to your own signed-in account — enforced by the database itself, not just the app.

8. Children's privacy

JobStamp is intended for tradespeople and businesses, not children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
